Best Bootstrap Hosting

We’ve had a lot of emails in the past few months asking which web hosting companies we recommend to use for Bootstrap so here’s a list of our favourite Bootstrap hosting options

1. Bluehost

If you need cheap, reliable hosting or simply need to get online fast without a tonne of server configurations then Bluehost is definitely the host for you.

Bluehost offers 24/7 support & comes with a ready to go Control Panel to admin your hosting without needing any hosting knowledge, this is why we often recommend it to our clients who are new to web design and development.

The absolute best bit about Bluehost is that they give you a free domain with every hosting plan they offer so you can get your domain and hosting in one place without having to mess around with nameservers and DNS settings.

Another big plus is Bluehost also offers an optional addon services like their”QuickStart” service for just a one off $79.99 to give you a kick start into web hosting.

Highly Recommended

2. Linode

  • Skill level: intermediate to advanced level
  • Pricing range: from $10/month
  • Recommended plan: Linode 2GB: $10/month

If you’re already experienced with web hosting or you simply want to learn more about web hosting and server set up then we 100% recommend, proof being that this site is currently hosted by Linode!

With Linode you get a completely empty server which you can install anything you like on and they offer installer scripts called StackScripts to kick start the installation process.

As mentioned getting an empty server mean you need some server knowledge but it also offers a great way to learn about hosting setup.

Linode offers a range of pricing plans and rapid migration between plans if you outgrow your current one, this means the hosting can grow as your site does.

They offer 24/7 support and tonnes of resources and how to guides to get you going.

Recommended for experienced web users

3. Google Drive (FREE)

  • Skill level: beginner to intermediate level
  • Price range: FREE

Yep it’s true you can use Google Drive to host basic HTML files like your Bootstrap site and it’s not as hard as you’d think:

  • Create a new folder on your Google Drive account and give it “Public on the web.” permissions.
  • Upload your files to the new folder
  • Open up one of your .html files most likely index.html then go View > Preview, that’s it!

This is a free and easy way to get your files online BUT the major downside is you get that ugly looking domain and URL.
